West Side Apartment

Description

The apartment in the western side of Casa Bellavista has typical characteristics of a local Rustico. It has a beautiful ceiling made of raw chestnut wood and thick, authentic stone walls. Ideal for four to six people or for families with children aged four or above. Ground floor: small combined kitchen and living room with an open fireplace, large table with corner bench. Double hot plate with a small oven. An additional single hot plate, a kettle, and a fridge. Bedroom with two beds 90/200. (Sleeping place for up to two additional mattresses). The external staircase leads to the attic room furnished with a cozy sleeping area with mattresses. If necessary, the latter can be used for up to eight people.
Two showers and two toilets, only accessible from the exterior, are situated on the lower floor of the house.
The seating area in the garden with a stone table is just on the east side of the house. It is the perfect spot to dream and relax in a hammock, a deckchair, or directly on the hot stone or wooden bench, surrounded by wild nature.

Ursula and Hannes are happy to give our guests suggestions for trips and hikes, or useful tips for swimming spots in the nearby creeks and rivers. The nearby valleys Onsernone, Valle Maggia, Valle Verzasca, as well as Valle Vigezzo in neighboring Italy are easy to reach by public transport from Intragna. Ascona  and Locarno, as well as many local villages such as Verscio with its prestigious Scuola Teatro Dimitri, invite you to explore their cultural activities. On request and in good weather we are happy to organize a pizza evening at the wood oven (from 15 people). Current info about Al Forno Vacanze, see also on facebook: alforno.pila.
